Clinical and subclinical mastitis are problems that are common to many dairy herds.

Using information from the milk recording organisations each month, we can look at the infection levels within a herd and advise when action is required.

Some farmers like us to provide this service each month; others call us when they have a particular issue to deal with.

This plan takes a very thorough look at all the aspects of farm management which have an effect on mastitis.

Data analysis and a farm visit are carried out to identify the main problem areas, and then straightforward advice is given on which actions are required to tackle the problem.
