If you are concerned about the fertility of your rams, or want them tested pre-breeding, then we are able to do this. We have all the equipment necessary to carry out a comprehensive fertility assessment on farm or at the practice.

 

This will initially involve a full examination of the ram including scanning his testicles.

 

The ram’s semen will then be examined to assess motility and also to detect levels of normal and abnormal sperm.

 

This assessment gives a good indication of the overall fertility level of a ram.
