We regularly produce Health Plans for our sheep farmers. We establish with the client what each farm’s business aims are, and then identify those areas of health and production to prioritise and improve in order to achieve these aims.

 

We cover areas such as ewe and lamb health, nutrition, lameness, parasite control, fertility, mineral status, biosecurity and disease control. Vicky has a particular interest in all aspects of sheep health and production. 

 

Some farmers are aiming for accreditation status for freedom from certain diseases and we can advise on the best course of action to achieve this.

 

Often, we find that we can help our clients make efficient savings by reviewing and fine-tuning their routine procedures e.g. by rationalising parasite control programmes.
