We are regularly called in to investigate outbreaks of disease or ongoing problems on the farm.

We will take into account all the contributing factors and may take samples from stock on the farm.

We carry out some laboratory tests in house, but most samples are sent off to accredited laboratories.

​

Post mortem examinations are often useful, and we are able to do these either on-farm or at the local hunt kennels.

 

Having worked in the APHA Veterinary Investigation service, Jane has a particular interest and a significant amount of experience in disease investigation and post-mortem examinations.

​

Vicki is particularly interested in calf health and will carry out housing assessments using infra-red measuring equipment and smoke bombs.
