We carry these out for the majority of our dairy clients on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis.

During these visits, routine fertility work is carried out. All our vets have an ultrasound scanner to enable accurate pregnancy diagnosis and examination of ovarian structures.

During these visits, we also take the opportunity to discuss the general health of stock of all ages and regularly review different aspects of production, such as nutrition, lameness or infectious disease.

In order that the vets get to know and understand each farm in depth, either one or two named vets are allocated to each unit to carry out these routine visits.

We use up-to-date software such as Total Vet and Interherd Plus which allows us to analyse herd performance in detail and benchmark herds for various aspects of performance.
